Who brought the circus to town

I was getting in my car at lunchtime when I happened to look into the Suburban window next to me and see a puppy in the front seat. I looked towards the back of the van and saw two gigantic versions of what I'd first seen. Their owner opened the back of the van and two GREAT DANES came loping out. That is in caps because there is no other way to describe them. They were SO big I thought about hopping aboard one and riding around the drill field but their owner seemed only tolerant of my interest so I figured a ride was out of the question. I asked if I could take some pictures and Owner obliged and then handed me the reins, or leashes if you prefer, so he could take the baby out of the front. Even though the "baby" was probably twice the size of Sadie already, there was just something so sweet about a smaller version of such hulking dogs. While I was holding the reins, the bigger two began to circle around me and it occurred to me that a. I had no strategy if one of them should run off or even say, sneeze on me and b. was I on some hidden video show? To my great (haha) relief they were well behaved and I lived to hold the baby one.
