Uncle Ben

I've never really grown anything before - except for lima bean plants in a cup in early elementary school - so these pictures are really exciting for me. As for the title of this post - my grandfather's brother, Ben, had an incredible garden he was (small town Alabama) famous for. I think he even won a pumpkin growing contest or two. He died about a year and a half ago of lung cancer at the age of 88. I think maybe I'm getting a little help with my new garden.
