Anticipating withdrawal

Sigh. This week has been so great. The fat baby lovin I have been getting (between the work interuptions) and the sister-talk (I had forgotten how my blood pressure drops when I talk to my older sister. A lot. Both the pressure and the talking). That and the margaritas we brought to the pool yesterday. The pool that says it is "Closed" but I know they are joking and the fact that you have to jump the fence, hand the baby over and then get over the pollen glaze on the pool-water surface - that means nothing. It is a little joke between me and management. Haha. Of course there is the always-present pecking order I fall back under whenever a close family member shows up. The pecking order that says Summer Is Better And That is That. The one that says however she wants to rearrange our living room is fine because, see above comment. Or the cooking, the cooking that is so much better than mine. It's ok because - see?! See my new haircut Summer? Do you like it? Or this new zip-up, sleeveless hoodie? You like it, ok, right? I assume this is normal particularly if you are in a big family, and when she leaves I will gradually settle back into myself. But it is so worth it. See?
