It's a Luna Moth

Thanks to all comments in the post below. I am now aware that what I bashed to death was a Luna Moth, considered very pretty by some. But that it's ok because they only live a week or so anyway. And that, ehem, some people consider me an outdoorsy type who shouldn't be bothered by a moth in the house. To that I say, you should have been here as it beat it's huge, heavy wings against the wall, turned around and said, "put the lotion in the basket," and then cackled. No, really, he did! Thanks guys - I love when the comments section gets going!
