Inspiration

Let me back up. I admit it. I started this blog, well mainly because I enjoy writing, no matter how self-conscious and dumb it sounds when I read it back to myself, but also because one of my heroes is the writer of dooce.com. She inspires me in my life, certainly in my writing (please excuse the near-plagiarism when it happens by accident), in her artistic sensibilities (of which I have very little but wish I had more) and her take on the world. Which sounds sort of heavy-handed although it's anything but. That is the long way of saying I emulate her to the point of drooling. Which is not attractive. She has a link up on her website to designfruit.com where you can download free art. Look how pretty this is: I don't design my own website though someday I hope to, so all I can do is post that pretty picture here. There are others. You should look.
