Considering the best way to get gifts

I worked a double yesterday at the restaurant. Also one today and also one tomorrow. That has virtually no relevance except for the fact that HELLO I AM WORKING HARD. Notice the HELL in hello. Yesterday, although hectic, was a good day to work because it was Mother's Day and we were very busy. I caught myself, on more than one occasion, wishing I were a mother because look at all those moms opening gifts of pretty necklaces and other nice things. But, I think that is a bad reason to have children. I was secretly, just a tiny bit hoping, for a You-Will-Be-A-Mother someday gift but no that did not happen either. Happy belated Mother's Day to all you real moms out there! Especially you, mom!
