Because all it's about is the fact that I have a gift certificate I'm afraid to use. I bought it for Summer right before she got married - a birthday gift I hoped she'd use in conjuction with all the little parties associated with getting married. I gave her one for a half hour massage and the other for a manicure. She never had the time to use the manicure one and then moved away. So she gave it to me but it states plainly on the card that it was expired in January. Only, I thought it was against the law to make a gift certificate that expired since really, it's just like cash. So now, I really want to go get my nails done but might be too scared.
