Alison Kathleen

I wanted to wait until I had a picture of her before posting, but Guerin hasn't gotten his lazy new-parent self to the computer to send pictures yet. She was born yesterday, August 9th, 2006 by Cesearean. She weighed 7 lbs, 12 ounces, which blows my mind since she is nearly a month early. She has club feet, which for some reason endears her more to me and so will have to have casts and possibly surgery later in her little bitty life. Her mom, Mary, had the same problem when she was born and went on to later injure her ankle badly in a tennis game, which I think is a good sign. When Guerin called last night to talk to me himself, his voice cracked as he told me her name. Our mom's name. I heard her little meow over the phone and wondered what the hell are we doing as the new mom and dad generation? I love her already. Will post pictures soon.
