no "rights" are violated
I'm trying to find a place here in the Birmingham area that can help me continue with Copper's training. I just want to be sure he is actively searching for missing pets when we go out, as opposed to trotting along, all the while chuckling internally to himself, "this is fun, this running through the woods thing, I think I'm supposed to be doing something but hey, if I put my nose down every few minutes she doesn't seem to know the difference." Or something. In my research today I came across a rather scary website that promised to help train your dog. Somewhere in the "dominate!" and learn to tell your dog "NO!" language I got the feeling Copper and I would NOT! be working with this training facility. On their scent-detection page I came across this paragraph, explaining how a private company could utilize a scent-trained dog: "Searches can be conducted overtly, to emphasize your company's "Zero Tolerance" policy or in total secrecy during closing hours. All searches are performed within US law, no "rights" are violated." Right. No "rights" are violated. They either crash around the company during work hours to "emphasize" they have trained dogs spying on you, you filthy lying worker bee you. OR they sneak in at night, but not to worry, your "rights" are kept safe. It's just your rights they're not worried about.
