The rose or the gardener?

It's a quote from Will and Grace about who is the nurturer in a relationship and who is the one who gets nurtured. It's rarely that black and white, I realize, but this email excerpt from Georgia reminded me of that episode. She is traveling with Peter in England - right now staying at his brother's house in London: so last night I washed my hair under the tub faucet (to get the shower to turn on, it's sub zero temperatures), went into a toilet that didn't flush, and then crawled into bed with Peter, who fell asleep literally when his head hit the pillow. I woke up with him snuggling the one blanket we have to his face (not using it, he'd balled it up and was holding it like a teddy bear) in the middle of the night and had to pull it away from him, and re-spread it. LOL
