Okay so I know the stereotype if you “work at home” is that you really sit around all day watching daytime TV and eating candy. Let’s get one thing straight, I don’t eat candy all day. Please, I have some standards. The daytime TV thing…. No, I don’t do that either – I actually spend most of my time trying to get a website up and running at the local Panera Bread since I still don’t have internet at home. It’s coming next week – sometime between Monday-Friday, 9-5. Thanks.
I will admit though to catching a show I would not otherwise be able to watch – it comes on at 4 and why hasn’t anyone told me about it yet? It’s called Divorce Court and although the name lends itself to sadness and depression it’s actually really good. No, really. The judge, first off, is very cute. You can tell she likes being on camera but so would I, so I don’t hold that against her. She waves her manicured hands around and, on the one I caught today, was able to convince the couple to give it another try. Aw, I love her. She also has that shoot-from-the-hip way of telling the “dumb” spouse what he or she is doing wrong and exactly what she thinks about it. You almost expect her to walk right up to the “dumb” spouse and snap her fingers right in his/her face but she can’t do that because descending from her throne would probably make her look less like she knows everything and more like the rest of us. I think she might know everything though – who else could put a couple back together in just 30 minutes?
