Copper part II
This morning at 7 AM I heard a familiar bark. For a split second I imagined I was back at our Laurel Forest house and Helga was in the hallway. But no, it was my newest family addition Copper. Who knew he'd sound just like our sweet family dog. Funny how things come around again. Because he is nearly full grown but only 8 months old, he acts like, well, an overgrown puppy. I went to grab a dishrag and clean up a water bowl spill this morning and who should put his entire head in the drawer to see what I was doing? In the drawer. At lunchtime he decided to climb into Bud's lap. Those pictures are below. Whenever poor Sadie comes in to be picked up or head-scratched, the lumbering giant is not far behind to poke his large head into my hand and receive the same treatment. After his rabies shot yesterday, he buried his head in my lap and it stung a little, not to be able to tell him he needed the shot.
